NEW!  Introducing a new mode to receive clock hour training credits in Kentucky.  We are starting a new training series called “Facebook Live Friday”.  Through this mode, you will be able to view “live” online trainings through our CCC of KY’s Facebook page.  Each session will be 1 hour in length and will be followed with a test for those who participated in the event.  Participants must score 80% of better on the test in order to receive the training credit.  We hope you will consider joining us for this new training option.  We are excited about this mode of training.

Q & A’s about Facebook Live Friday:

Q:  Does it cost to watch the event?
A:  NO!  You just need to have a Facebook account and visit our page to join the video.

Q:  How much does it cost?
A:  $5 for the 1 hour of training credit (see details below).

Q:  How do I receive training credit?
A:  Following the Facebook Live event, a link to a test will be posted on this page (bottom of page) by the event title.  There is a $5 charge to access and take the test unless you are a member of our Kid Matter Coalition.  It’s FREE for members.  Read more regarding Kids Matter Coalition membership here.  You will be required to provide TRIS information and payment information each time on the testing platform.

Q:  Will I receive a certificate?
A:  YES!  Upon successful completion of the test (80% of better), a certificate will be automatically emailed to you from our testing platform.  You will be required to provide TRIS information and payment information each time on the testing platform.

Q:  What if I don’t score 80% or better on the test?
A:  You can retake the test for an additional $5 charge.

Q:  Will my credit be entered into TRIS?
A:  Yes!  Credit will be entered within the required 10 day timeframe.

Q:  Will all answers to the tests be covered in the training?
A:  YES!  There will be 15 total questions on the test.  10 of the questions will be on the content included in the training.  The additional 5 questions will be “CHECK POINT” questions that will be given at various times throughout the training.  These questions will be related to early care and education but not necessarily related to the training topic.  You must be able to answer these “CHECK POINT” questions in order to pass the test.  We will acknowledge these questions throughout the live event so you are able to document them.

Q:  Will follow up materials from the training event be available?
A:  Yes!  We will provide handouts, links to resources/materials and other relevant items.
